Bringing in 2011

January is winding down, and I have yet to share pictures from my family's New Year's Eve celebration! Shame on me.

My mother's side of the family is the one that we are the closest to. And I see that happening with my relationship as well because of the living situation. His family lives in the Bronx, NY, and my parents live here a few minutes away from us.

My famiy visits often. We get together as much as we can, and we are blessed in that department, being that not everyone can do that with their families. My brother and his wife came down from Long Island, NY and spent a few days with my parents, so they took part in the bash. Enjoy the pictures and peek into the Garcia/Guillot clan.

-------------------------------------------------------

My cousin's hand (bottom) and mine. I did both our nails.

The men bonding lol. Left to right: My brother, my boyfriend Joe, and Malvina's (my cousin) boyfriend Darren.

A tradition of ours is to eat 12 grapes and make 1 wish for each. I was so hammered I probably only made 6 wishes lol. Here I am with my cousins; Jose, Genesis, and Malvina. They're bro and sisters.

I love this girl to pieces! Here I am again, with my girly Geni.

Malvi, my brother Francisco, and I.

Malvi, Francisco, his wife Miguelina, Geni, and I.

Geni with her rose.

Sisterly love.

Poor guy, he was sick (he gave Joe and I the flu!) and they were sitting on him, haha!

Shots! Shots! Shots! Lol, she was my personal bartender that night.

Don't mind me. I was feeling myself that evening lol.

Hey, look this way!

There we go!

My brother bought enough roses for all of the women there, and he gave them to us right after the ball dropped :) No photoshop either!

Again :)

I posted one with the hubby from this night a few entries back : ) I hope you enjoyed these! I plan to share some videos from that night as well, just not right now lol. All of the resizing and stuff is tiring haha. There were a lot more pictures but, they were more candid. I love those, taking pictures when the subject isn't aware, and doesn't even notice that their picture was taken. Watch out around me! Have a great day!

We're closer to my mom's side of the family too and even though my boyfriend's family and mine both live in the same city and we each live at home with our own families, we usually hang out with mine lol. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful pictures, como siempre. I love your hands, as weird as it sounds lmfao but they're really pretty. I have a similar nail polish on right now, is that For Audrey by China Glaze?

And the grape tradition was funny. Never heard of that one, so, I bet that was fun!
